Beginning of Destiny is a technically underwhelming, overly dry card battle game that we can only (and just barely) recommend to hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh! The sim aspects of the title are definitely lacking and there's very little to do besides play cards, so don't expect much out of the experience.However, the actual card system is a (as far as we can tell) perfect replication of the real deal, which is definitely a plus.

Although one of your main goals is to befriend a partner to team up with for the Tag Team tournament, your time at Duel Academy seems more like an exercise in pattern-following than an actual simulation of the "anime school" experience.
